You turn around to head to the spot Bonnie marked 1 on the map, and find yourself at a dead end. There’s a pile of books on the ground, and papers are pinned to the boxes around you. Several of them appear to be newspaper articles in a language you don’t recognize.
KLAIR
A dead end. Dang.
Issac begins poking through the pile of books before jumping back, surprised.
BONNIE
Oh--! What is it!?
ISSAC
Check it out for yourself.
There's a pilot's hat and goggles among the books, dusty and worn.
KLAIR
N-Nice find, Issac! How old do you think these are...?
ISSAC
Judging by the design, I'd guess these are from, like, the 1940's. Maybe late 1930's, who knows.
BONNIE
...How'd you know that?
ISSAC
Can't a guy just have a mild and totally normal interest in aviation history? Christ. What I'm wondering is what they're doing here.
KLAIR
Bai? Do you know?
BAI
Oh, interesting... Interesting indeed... this may be a clue to the identity of the ghost who holds the key piece you seek in this area!
BONNIE
So they were a pilot?
BAI
Um... Maybe!
ISSAC
Try not to help us TOO hard there, man. We want at least a little challenge.
KLAIR
Shh. Be nice to the funny ghost helping us not die in here, okay?
