GHOST HOUSE

FEB 2 1928

DEAR MRS. ALBIN

AFTER OUR MANY HOUSE CALLS AND DISCUSSION WITH OTHERS IN THE AREA, EMMERYN’S CONDITION CONTINUES TO PERPLEX ME. IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER DOCTORS IN THE IMMEDIATE STATE WHO ARE ABLE TO IDENTIFY WHAT EXACTLY IS CAUSING HER TO CRY OUT FROM HUNGER DESPITE BEING WELL FED, AND WHAT IS CAUSING HER BODY TEMPERATURE TO BE SO LOW. I AM KEEPING MY EAR OUT FOR ANY CASES SIMILAR TO THIS BUT I HAVE YET TO FIND ANYBODY WHO HAS SEEN SUCH A MYSTIFYING SITUATION. I WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU UPDATED.

MY APOLOGIES ABOUT EDWARD.

SINCERELY, DR. H. SMITH, HEAD DOCTOR.
