GHOST HOUSE

You walk up the stairs uninterrupted. Bai leads the way, their light causing the darkness to recede just enough to see.

BONNIE

Bai.

BAI

Hmm?

BONNIE

You said the ghosts out back looked that way because they didn't know what else to look like. That's why they were all weird.

BAI

Yes ma'am! Most ghosts are too weak to retain anything about their previous life, or, if they do, it's only small mannerisms and such.

BONNIE

Is that why you look like a little light?

BAI

Oh, huh. I did forget what I looked like when I was alive. I guess so!

ISSAC

Do you think you'll look like a human when you leave with us?

BAI

I... didn't think that far ahead.

They seem a little nervous, now.

KLAIR

One thing at a time. How long until we reach the playroom?

BAI

This is it, actually!

Bai pauses in front of a white door. You realize you didn't notice when you stopped walking up the stairs and started walking down a hallway - is this the second floor? You're pretty sure you didn't pass any other floors on your way up, but you were walking forever. This House is confusing.
