You search the shoe cubby. Dotty tackles the cabinet.
All of the little boxes are empty except for a few dead bugs and some trash. In the bottom left one you find a single winter boot. It looks like it belongs to a small child, and on the bottom of the shoe, you can see somebody has written their name on it.
ROSIE
Eddie... I don't remember any Eddies in the area.
DOTTY
I don't remember any mansions sitting in the woods, either. Guess both of our memories suck.
ROSIE
Probably. Have you found anything?
DOTTY
Nah. Just some old letters.
You turn the boot upside down and a key falls out, clanging on the wooden floor.
ROSIE
Aha! See? A key!
DOTTY
...Whatever. Shut up and try it already.
